Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 3, 2026
GameManager is an iOS app for following game releases and keeping a personal game library. This policy explains what personal data the app handles, why, and what you can do about it.
Data we collect
- Account data: your email address and an account identifier. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the email address and identifier those services share with us.
- Library data: the games in your collection and wishlist, their play status and play history, the events you follow, and your app preferences, such as favourite platforms.
- Usage data: which screens you open and which actions you take, such as adding a game, together with the app version, device model and iOS version. It is linked to your account identifier, never to your email address, and never includes the names of your games or anything you write.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos or advertising identifiers, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
Why we use it
Account and library data are used only to provide the app: to sign you in and to store and show your library on your devices. Usage data is used, on the basis of our legitimate interest, to understand how the app is used and to improve it. Usage analytics are on by default, and you can turn them off at any time in the app, under Settings → Share usage analytics. We do not sell your data, show ads or build advertising profiles.
Who processes it
- Supabase handles sign-in and stores your account data.
- Railway hosts the GameManager service and the database that stores your library data.
- PostHog (EU) stores usage analytics.
Game and event information comes from IGDB. No personal data is sent to IGDB.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in the app, under Settings → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account, all of your library data and your usage analytics.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how it is used. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
